I feel like I just got home from a long trip. The minute I step through the door, I feel comfortable. I’m home. Sure - things might be a little messy. There are likely hairballs in some of the corners. There might be a few dishes to do. But it still feels good.

Coming back here after such a long absence is sort of like that. In fact, I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve paid attention to this blog. I just went through and approved some comments - I didn’t even check how long they’ve been in there. I guess I don’t want to know. It had to have been last year - sometime in 2009. Yes I’m sure that’s it.

Anyway, I’m back. I don’t know what took me so long to stumble through these doors. There have been many changes. My life was uprooted as my husband and me and our cat trekked first cross country from CA to NH and then again oversees to Germany. The whole process took months. We’re still not quite settled in but we’re comfortable.

I’m back to business. I’ve been traveling. I’ve been cleaning. I even just decided to open the doors once again and complete projects for clients. The door isn’t going to be open for very long - I will maybe only do it for the next month or so unless I magically decide that I love it and can’t live without it. Though I doubt that.

Yes, being here feels good. I hope you return with me!
