Okay well, I never promised this was going to be an exact science. I took this photo on Saturday after I already posted that day’s pics. So I am considering this Sunday’s picture. That means I am still one day behind with getting my pictures posted. So, this is intended to be the picture from April 19, 2009.
I took this at a local county park called El Toro park. This particular trail was called Cougar Ridge which was essentially a grassy meadow on a ridge line. This was my favorite picture from that hike! I don’t know the name of the flowers… I think they may be alfalfa which would make sense because those are all cow pastures.

Love the tranquillity of your photograph. Oh, and the colours are vibrantly superb…
Sorry, can’t help with the name of the flower, lovely colour though…:-)
You must have had a pleasant hike - visually stunning scenery as well.
Thank you for sharing your photograph and a memory of your day.
Hey Abimbola, thanks for the positive feedback! It was very pleasant.
We plan on going back soon to do some of the other peaks.

Thanks Jay! I am a bit behind.
I’ll be resuming the project after I finish something up.
