Pic of the Day #2 - Monterey Bay with California Poppy

Today went much better! I took an AM walk along the water near Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey and had plenty of inspiration. This one is my favorite of all the shots I took, so I selected it as today’s featured photo. I LOVE the California Poppy that made it into the shot.

   Beautiful! Very nicely composed! I *love* that pop of color with the poppies.

   Reika, thanks so much! My husband said the same thing - the poppy makes the shot even more interesting.

   It would be a pretty picture without the poppies, but they really make the picture gorgeous. They’re so soft and gentle compared to the harsh sea and rocks.

   Thanks Alisha! The poppies aren’t always there so I feel blessed that they were positioned “just so”…
