Life has been wonderful here. The view from my desk is pleasant - I am facing a large picture window that overlooks the backyard. I can see the trees. I know when the fog dissipates, signaling that it’s time to go for a walk. Squirrels dance on the power line like tight rope walkers. Sometimes they’re carrying objects (like plastic bags!) other times they’re just going back and forth, using the tight rope as a roadway between trees. The sun leaves speckles of light on the tips of the leaves as the breeze gently sways the boughs as if on springs.
But oh yes. I should be working. Where was I? Ahem. Today, I dusted off my Rebel Dieter blog and made a post about developing thin person habits. Well, relearning them is more like it. I used to be thin - on the low end of my happy weight actually - before I let bad habits take over and sabotage my figure. Oh don’t get me wrong, I still feel like I look okay, just with some extra padding. No, my motive for learning these habits is so I can reach a healthy weight while maintaining my sanity.
I also offered a nice little roundup of what I’ve been up to with my online internet and writing business over at my Path to Success Blog. I’ve seen an increase in my online earnings which has been very exciting. I am also adding a member site to my list of online projects - it’s a joint venture with a friend and is going to be great fun!
And of course, I’ve written my usual eHow articles. Here are my newest titles for your viewing pleasure:
- How to Make Iced Pomegranate Green Tea (I think this is my new one!)
In addition to all the work related stuff that has been dividing my attention, I’ve also been “out and about”. My husband and I just got back from a trip to Yosemite National Park. He hiked Half Dome and well, I didn’t! Lol. I hiked some of the Upper Yosemite Falls trail - I didn’t make it all the way, mainly because of a thunderstorm that was rolling through.

Hei, what a life you have there. Thks for pointing out to How to Make Iced Pomegranate Green Tea. I have a pome tree in my front yard. Never know what to do with the fruits. At my hometown (Bali), pome usually use in Hindunese praying ritual. Thks again Katherine

The fruits are tasty by themselves, too! But the tree must yield a lot. You can probably take the seeds out and juice them. What kind of praying ritual is it used in?
